In comparison with yesterday, today was a much easier day in controlling my emotions. I feel like yesterday's many boding opportunities really gave us a lot of strength moving forward. First we met with Rick Jones, who 25 years ago left the comfort of his home nation and came to El Salvador to stand in solidarity. He is extremely informative and conscious of the state of this country. Jones' courageous demeanor would be similar to immigrating to Syria right now and working in relief and religious liberation. The, we went to the only public hospital in the country that will allow for free health care, but with a catch. The facilities are so impacted that if services are needed, it is unlikely they will see you in a timely manner. Tomorrow we leave for Papaturro! I look forward to our time there.
